Permalink Canopy El Nogalito, Puerto Vallarta on Flickr. A while ago +mariia rosales asked me and couple of friends +Shanti Gilbert & +nestor ramirez to join a cool trip to Canopy el Nogalito in Puerto Vallarta, all we had to do was have fun and shoot the whole trip. This one made it to the front cover of the new flyers ( I was very exited ).
Permalink One more day on Flickr. While doing a time lapse video with my D90, I couldn’t resist keep snapping the beautiful sun set that I was seeing, so I grabbed my phone and started shooting with it, with the help of Snapseed for iPhone I was able to capture this beautiful moment.

Permalink Star Hunting on Flickr.Last Saturday night me +Shanti Gilbert +Miguel Naranjo and +Danya Soto went star hunting, we grabed a tent, beers and snacks to give it a try. Since we live on the coast we don’t get opportunities like this very often, this is one of the photos I was able to capture during that night, I had to walk around to look for something interesting and it wasn’t an easy task since it was very dark.

Permalink Marcela Álvarez on Flickr.I don’t know if this ever happend to you, but I usually use one or two photos when I go out shooting ( usually landscapes ) I try to pick the best one, but sometimes when I go back and look at that old folder, I realize I missed other photos that now look good to me. This is one example, I just found this photo I took a while ago, I don’t know why I didn’t use it before but I really like it now, I feel like my editing skills have improved a bit since than so I’m guessing that could be a reason why I didn’t know what to do with it before.
Have this ever happend to you ?
Permalink untitled on Flickr.Last Sunday, some good friends and I did an amazing photo trip to Talpa, Jalisco. This is a still image of a short time lapse videoclip I’m working on of our way back home.
My friends thought I was crazy when I started shooting long exposure photos on the back of the truck, obviously the tripod wasn’t still enough and it was a pain to hold it for so long. Since I was only experimenting I didn’t really know what to expect. I’m quite happy with how it turned out, I will upload it soon, I hope you like it.

Permalink Tempe Town Lake, Phoenix Metro on Flickr.Couple of weeks ago I was lucky to be part of the Tempe Photowalk, it was a great day, I had a good time and met great people. I got “lost” from the group for a little while, they thought I had fallen into the lake or was kidnaped… lol ( Again, I’m sorry guys for keeping you waiting ).
I had found this spot, this is the photo that I was trying to take when everyone was looking for me, I had some problems doing my test shoots and since each train was taking forever to come I decided to keep up with the group.
I told my self I had to go back and retake this shoot, I knew exactly what I wanted, where to stand, and how long I was going to be waiting for a train. This time the lighting conditions were on my side. I like how this photo turned out, the movement, the reflection on the train and the sunset through the windows.
I’m still having some camera issues, at times some buttons won’t respond and still getting a lot of noise at low ISO, water damaged is not fun.
